S.I Magazine Volume 13

We kept you waiting, we are here. A revised edition to your hearty magazine. The 13th edition of Search Inwards pierces through us, all of us, to a popular culture we exist in and have come to accept even when it is not conducive to our health and decreases us in wealth. An issue that if properly managed can help grow our capital base; the issue of Open Defecation. Our personality for In My Days is the first Nigerian woman to posit for Presidential election: Sarah Jibril as she takes us through her journey as a child. The articles are representative to what we want, our struggles through life and ways to challenge ourselves to grow better, be better. The game for this edition is a play that a lot of us can relate to, if we can’t teach our children how to play, then we should tell those stories; moreover, it could be a map for tomorrow. The event pages are full of warmth from works of NGOs and individuals contributing to positive societal growth to a wedding event. I don’t want to spill ink on this. The details are in there for you. OMG! Before I forget, our reviews are provokingly thoughtful, don’t tell the authors: the music, the book, the movie. I doubt if you won’t want them after this. I am getting quite elated, I hope the feeling is communicable. Do swim in the lives and stories we have brought to you in one piece – Search Inwards 13th edition

Description

Hello! Welcome to the 9th edition of your favourite bi-monthly publication. As a kid I wondered what became of scraps and junks that gets thrown out. Well, do you know what becomes of them? Be ready to find out. Uncover the act of wealth making from scraps in our cover page story. History will always be an integral part of human existence. Knowing one’s origin gives a beautiful sense of belonging and our art and culture column zoomed its lenses into the ancestral home of the Yoruba’s in Osun State. Our travelogue destination is the ‘State of the Living Spring’. Allow your feelings run freely as you behold beautiful pictures from the Erin-ijesha waterfall. People always crave to stand out from a crowd, but few people actually do what it takes to set them apart. Get to meet our Woman Extraordinaire who would give the popular animation character ‘fix-it Felix’ a run for the money. And with great focus, our ‘NGO Watch’ page captures the activities and life-changing impact of the Gede Foundation. My advice? You sit back, relax, grab yourself a drink and enjoy the rest of our interesting features. Have a great read!
