A research statistics carried out by Women’s Own Resource Centre revealed that: 83% of victims of spousal violence are women, above 50% abused women are admitted into shelter with their children, 91% of domestic homicide cases women are the victims and women are 3X more likely to report that they have been assaulted or threatened by their partners.
Our documentary is based on the above theme; wife battery. How culture impedes the rights of our women’s painful experience, shutting them up in silence.
