The 65-year-old political figure succumbed to a brief illness, leaving a void in Nigeria’s political landscape.
Born into the esteemed Na’Abba family of Tudun Wada, Kano City, on September 27, 1958, Ghali Na’Abba’s demise marks the end of a significant chapter in Nigerian politics. His educational journey included a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Ahmadu Bello University in 1979.
Na’Abba’s early education roots can be traced back to Jakara Primary School in Kano, where he earned his First School Leaving Certificate in 1969. Subsequently, he pursued his West African School Certificate at Rumfa College, Kano, and attended the School of Preliminary Studies in Kano between 1974 and 1976. His academic pursuits culminated in admission to Ahmadu Bello University in October 1976.
The former Speaker furthered his knowledge with a postgraduate program on Leadership and Good Governance at the prestigious Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University, in the United States in 2004.
