In a significant announcement, the Federal Government of Nigeria has officially declared Wednesday, 27th September, as a public holiday to mark this year’s Eid-ul-Maulud celebration.
The declaration was made by the Honorable Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, and conveyed through a statement issued by the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Interior, Oluwatoyin Akinlade. This announcement comes as a moment of joy for Muslims both within Nigeria and in the Diaspora.
Minister Tunji-Ojo extended his warm congratulations to all Muslim faithful, emphasizing the importance of this auspicious occasion.
